Key West Fishing Update

Our new 2021, 36-foot Front Runner has officially hit the water and has already been exceeding expectations. From crushing the fish to cushioning knees and backs, this boat delivers a level of comfort and performance we’ve never experienced before.

About the Boat

The 36 Front Runner offers an incredibly smooth and comfortable ride with a 40 mph cruise speed, getting us to the fishing grounds faster than ever.

Two rear-facing seats
Three captain’s chairs behind the helm
Two-seat forward lounge
Optional bean bag chairs for longer runs

Features & Layout

Full SeaDek flooring for superior comfort and traction
Four large fish boxes to handle plenty of catch
Three livewells to support all styles of live-bait fishing
Full head inside the center console with:
Freshwater sink
Air conditioning for hot summer days

On the Water

Since launching the new boat, we’ve been putting it to work. Trips to the far west reefs and wrecks, fishing the shrimp boats, and deep dropping have all been producing results. We’ve also enjoyed staying closer to home, taking full advantage of everything Key West waters have to offer.

Tarpon

Wahoo

And coming soon — we’re looking forward to landing our first swordfish aboard this boat in the next few weeks.

Growing up, I always looked forward to all water activities - whether it was swimming, scuba diving or fishing. I visited Key West and was mesmerized by the warm weather, laid-back lifestyle and the beautiful waters - where the ocean meets the gulf. I packed-up my things and moved to the southernmost city. At first, I held multiple jobs got on the water as often as I could. I was fortunate to have some local watermen take me under their wings and show me the art and science of offshore fishing. I quickly progressed from deck hand, to mate, to captain. It was a great experience and I still help them out to this day. Nowadays, I still love fishing and spend most of my free time fishing. I will go out and try different techniques or try to find new spots. In the slower season, I spend much of my time under the water studying the fish behavior and how they are affected with the tides and moon phase. As I progress as a captain and angler, I always try to push myself into more challenging situations.
